Refund & Cancellation Policy

This page summarizes, in plain language, how cancellation and refunds work for the Judgy subscription (operated by Caleido design di Paduret Cristian — see our Legal Notice). The complete, binding terms are Sections 5–7 of our Terms of Service; in case of any conflict, the Terms govern.
1. The Subscription at a Glance
- One plan: Judgy Annual, $119.99 per year (USD), plus any applicable taxes shown at checkout.
- Your account’s first subscription includes one extra month free — about 13 months in total. The full annual price is charged at checkout; there is no free trial.
- The subscription renews automatically every year (the first renewal about 13 months after your first purchase) until you cancel.
- Digital activation is immediate: your console, feedback form and QR code work as soon as your payment is confirmed — usually within a couple of minutes of completing checkout.
2. How to Cancel
- Log in to your Judgy console and open Account.
- Select Manage billing — this opens your secure billing portal.
- Choose Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for: you keep full access until then, and no further renewals are charged.
Cancelling online this way is always available — no phone call or e-mail is required. If you cannot access your account, e-mail us at support@judgy.us and we will cancel the renewal for you.
After your paid period (plus a 48-hour grace period) ends, your QR code stops collecting feedback. We keep your data for six months after expiration so you can come back without losing anything; after that it is permanently deleted. You can also delete your account (and all its data) immediately at any time from Account → Danger zone — deleting the account also cancels the subscription immediately.
3. When You Can Get a Refund
Except where the law requires otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable — cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current term. However, you can request a refund by writing to support@judgy.us in these cases:
- the Service is not activated;
- you are charged twice for the same subscription;
- a payment was not authorized;
- the Service is materially different from what was advertised;
- the Service is unusable and is not restored;
- a renewal was processed without the notices or consent required by applicable law; or
- a mandatory, non-waivable law requires the refund.
4. How Refund Requests Are Handled
- Write to support@judgy.us from your account e-mail, with the restaurant name and the reason for the request.
- We review requests in good faith and reply within 10 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; depending on your bank, the money typically arrives within 5–10 business days.
Nothing on this page limits any non-waivable rights or remedies you may have under applicable law.
